- 3/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grate
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1Whisk together all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
2Bring to a boil, whisking all the while until it thickens.
3Remove from heat and cool to room temperature
